By participating in this auction, placing a bid, or otherwise engaging with the Own & Loan Jersey Auction, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility to Bid
All bidders must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement. By placing a bid, you confirm that you are financially capable of fulfilling your bid if successful.
2. Binding Agreement
All bids placed are considered final and legally binding. By submitting a bid, you are committing to purchase the item if you are the highest bidder at the close of the auction.
3. Payment Obligation
By bidding, you confirm that you have the funds available to complete the purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are required to pay the full amount of your winning bid.
Failure to complete payment may result in:
- Disqualification from future auctions
- Cancellation of your winning bid
- Potential further action at the discretion of the organiser
4. Accepted Payment Methods
The only accepted payment methods are:
- Cash
- Bank Transfer
No alternative payment methods will be accepted. Payment details will be provided to the winning bidder upon auction close.
5. Payment Deadline
Payment must be made within the timeframe specified by the auction organiser after the auction closes. Failure to pay within this period may result in forfeiture of the item and reassignment to another bidder.
6. Auction Closing
The auction will close at the stated time. Any bids placed after the closing time will not be considered. The highest valid bid at closing will be deemed the winner.
7. Item Condition & Description
All items are sold as seen. While efforts are made to ensure accurate descriptions, the organiser does not guarantee condition beyond what is stated.
8. Ownership & Collection
Ownership of the item transfers only once full payment has been received. Arrangements for collection or delivery will be agreed upon after payment.
9. Bid Retraction
Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed. Please ensure you are certain before submitting a bid.
10. Organiser Rights
The auction organiser reserves the right to:
- Reject or remove any bid
- Cancel or amend the auction at any time
- Refuse participation to any individual
11. Agreement to Terms
By placing a bid, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above terms and conditions.
